Presentation Title: Why Less Is More in Multi-Asset Credit
Join us for an insightful discussion on the evolving landscape of multi-asset credit strategies lead by John Yovanovic, Co-Head of Leveraged Finance at PineBridge. John will discuss why focusing on the quality of credit components, rather than the quantity of asset classes, can lead to stronger risk-adjusted returns. He will delve into the key reasons behind this approach, including the high correlations among typical multi-asset credit components and the benefits of expanding the issuer universe.
Additionally, we will explore our Global Opportunistic Credit strategy, which is designed to navigate the complexities of today's volatile markets. This strategy seeks to deliver enhanced yield potential by selecting high-conviction ideas across global credit markets through a dynamic, multi-asset credit approach. John will discuss how the strategy leverages the idiosyncratic risks of individual credits and issuers, how it adapts to evolving market conditions, and how its flexible investment approach can help de-risk portfolios without sacrificing yield.
Key Topics:
- The limitations of traditional multi-asset credit diversification
- Strategies for de-risking portfolios while maintaining yield potential
- How to position portfolios for potential bouts of volatility and through market cycles
